About Pass Pursuits

Pass Pursuits is a British tour operator running driving and motorcycle holidays over the great mountain passes of the European Alps. Founded in 2011, we plan every trip end to end from the UK: the route, the hotels and the return Channel crossing. You drive your own car or ride your own bike. Guided group trips run from £4,995 to £14,995; motorcycle trips from £4,995 to £9,995.

Who we are

We are a small team with a long obsession: the roads most people only ever drive past. Since 2011 we have run trips over the great alpine passes — the Stelvio, the Furka, the Grimsel, the Gotthard, the Grossglockner and the cols of the Route des Grandes Alpes — on set months for a group, and one-off for a single family or a whole company. Every trip starts and ends on this side of the Channel.

What we run

• Guided group trips — a small convoy of no more than eight cars behind a lead driver, on summer departures. From £4,995 for five days to £14,995 for ten.
• Motorcycle trips — guided rides with a support van carrying every bag, hotel to hotel. From £4,995 to £9,995.
• Bespoke group trips — a private trip built around your car club, friends or family.
• Individual trips — self-drive at your own pace with a printed road book, designed around your dates.
• Corporate trips — incentives, offsites and client events, run end to end on one invoice.

How it works

Tell us the kind of trip you have in mind. We design the route around the passes actually being open, book hotels we have stayed in ourselves, arrange the return Channel crossing, and hand you a printed road book. On guided trips someone who knows every pass drives out front. There is no deposit until you approve the plan.

We also publish free, sourced guides for UK drivers — pass opening dates, road law, and what a trip really costs — and driver's guides to the great passes themselves.
