# Pass Pursuits

> A British operator of driving and motorcycle holidays over the great mountain passes of the European Alps. Every trip starts and ends in the United Kingdom: we plan the route, book the hotels and arrange the Channel crossing, and you drive your own car or ride your own bike. Pass Pursuits sells five kinds of trip: set-date guided group trips, set-date motorcycle trips with a support van, private trips for car clubs and groups, tailor-made individual trips, and corporate trips. The passes we run most often are the Stelvio, Furka, Grimsel, Nufenen, Gotthard and the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. We also publish free, sourced guides for UK drivers heading to the Alps.

- [Furka Pass](https://passpursuits.com/passes/furka-pass): the 2,429 m Swiss pass from Goldfinger, glacier views, no vignette needed for the pass; open 28 May-27 Oct 2026.
- [Grossglockner High Alpine Road](https://passpursuits.com/passes/grossglockner): a 48 km Austrian toll road, 2,504 m; toll EUR 46.50 car / EUR 36.50 motorcycle, not covered by the vignette; reopened 25 April 2026.
- [Route des Grandes Alpes](https://passpursuits.com/passes/route-des-grandes-alpes): a 700 km French itinerary over 16 cols from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean, including the Col de l'Iseran (2,764 m), the highest paved pass in the Alps.
